WWDC 2010 Rant

Where were the computers, Steve? And by that I mean the boring, traditional, on a desk computers? I know they’re so 1999, mentally beige, but damn it I want to see a new Pro, a new Mini, a new iMac, a new Air and a new xServe!

And what about the iPod? That baby made you guys famous. It was a revolution. It loved you. It trusted you. And you’ve abandoned it. It seems the iPod has iAids.

And books! Purchase a book and you can read it anywhere? My god, thanks for that. So generous.

When is the i-thing going to end? The universe will collapse if you keep using all the i’s. People won’t be able to refer to themselves and sentences wll start losng meanng.

I hereby rename the WWDC to WWiDC! Now, for that Hackintosh…

Sad but true :( I was really looking forward to a Mac Pro update. Could really use the power and have the money sitting here waiting to give to Apple but if all they can release is a new iPhone… It’s been over 450 days now since the last Mac Pro update which is a bit of a joke.

Apple has been missing an essential product for years. It’s the product that lies between the mac mini and the mac pro. I’m talking a mid or mini-tower that is hardware upgradable. This upper/midrange series of computers needs to be geared towards gamers/teens it needs to cost as much as an imac for the base model without stepping on the mac-pro’s feet on graphic development.

Agreed, sirs. I’ve spoken to a lot of people who are waiting for a hardware refresh.

It is a Tuesday, so there’s a possibility stuff will be silently updated.

So agree with you, hate the fact that they are so slow on updating some hardware…
